The Britax Poplar ClickTight® Convertible Car Seat, available in 3 colours, is designed to grow with your child while making everyday family life easier. With extended rear-facing use from 2.3kg to 22.7kg (5–50lb) and forward-facing use up to 29.5kg (65lb), it offers years of comfort, convenience and trusted Britax safety.

Getting a secure installation is simple with Britax's patented ClickTight® Installation system. Open the seat, thread and buckle the seatbelt through the clearly marked belt path, then click the seat closed. The system helps achieve a secure installation without complicated steps.

At just 43cm wide, the SpaceSaver™ design helps maximise space across your back seat while providing plenty of room for your growing child. Its slim profile makes it a practical option for families needing flexibility without compromising on comfort or safety.

The Poplar also features SafeCell® technology, a reinforced carbon steel frame and a patented V-shaped tether to help manage crash forces. Its SafeWash® fabrics are naturally flame-retardant without added flame-retardant chemicals and are machine washable and dryer friendly.

Britax Poplar vs Poplar S

Both convertible car seats offer ClickTight® Installation, a slim SpaceSaver™ design and the same rear-facing and forward-facing weight limits. The main difference is the accessories included with each model.

The Poplar S includes an anti-rebound bar designed to help reduce rebound movement during a rear-facing crash, plus infant inserts for a better fit from newborn. The anti-rebound bar can also be purchased separately for the standard Poplar. If you're buying for a toddler and don't need the newborn extras, the Poplar offers the same slim fit and easy installation at a lower price.
